This thread is for those rumors that are floating around the Nevermore among the Anarchs. Kindred or ghouls who spend a lot of time in the Nevemore can use this thread to find out general information that is swirling around the sect; or you can use this thread to start rumors of your own.

With the disappearance of Ravyn and Shiva the Anarch community has taken a bit of a blow, and when Jack Heller stepped in his has been met with some suspicion by the general Anarch community, a number of rumours spread around the area.
The rumours revolve around both Jack himself and also the disappearance of the previous baron, the list below is not exhaustive as rumours grow in diversity as time passes.

Jack Heller is the childe of the Brujah Primogen and Sheriff

Jack Heller diablarised/destroyed/ drove out Ravyn and Shiva (some have the same fate meeting both, others theorise that with Ravyn’s death Shiva fled fearing she would be next)

Ravyn never left, but has gone into hiding due to danger (various different ones mentioned in different rumours) leaving Jack as a puppet

Jack Heller is preparing to leave the treaty

Jack Heller is preparing for an assault against both the Sabbat and Camarilla of New York

Jack Heller is a puppet of the city prince and is operating to weaken the Anarchs from within using the disappearance of Ravyn and Shiva (which depending on the particular rumour attached he did or did not have a hand in) to set himself up in a position of power which he can then use to bring about the fall of the Anarchs of New York.

Rumour has it a new anarch has appeared, possibly either sired just now or moved in from elsewhere in the country. Few Anarchs already claim to have met him, and that he introduced himself as either "Ronnie" or "Piss".

They say he bears a striking resemblance to Ronnie "Piss" Crystal, the guitarist and lead singer of Hardcore/Punk Rock outfit Nightmare Legion, a band of quite some reknown in the underground New York HC club and street/generator concert circuit.

They say he has let himself into some serious shit, and wants to run with the anarchs for protection.

They say he is somewhat ignorant of vampire culture and the conventions of the kindred.

They say he is weird, or at least seems to have some issues.

Rumors slowly circulate about the Ravnos Spitfire, most are amazed he hasn't moved on yet, others say the punk has a plan:

He has infiltrated the Camarilla through a high level contact

He has already turned some of the Camarilla into loyal Anarchs

He has started calling himself Baron Spitfire

Nathan, a mysterious Ventrue with an even more unclear agenda, has recently turned up in town claiming to be an anarch.

He has not presented himself to the Cammarilla in the city

He has alluded to other Anarch allies in conversations.

His past is shrouded in mystery, his name either an alias, or erased from existance.

He seems adamantly unwilling to submit to, or even recognise, Spitfires authority. Why this is is also unclear.

Tonight a black van pulled into the streets of New York City. Nothing important save the figure that emerged from it. It is said he had bleached blonde hair dressed as a punk; he stood in the entrance of the Nevermore and declared "The Big Bad is back! Welcome back the fucking Spitfire Zone!" And with that he knocked out a bouncer and walked away, hoping his message would be delivered to who it had to be sent to.

Amie Kreutzer and Max Hampson, two Caitiff and Nevermore regulars who work for Shiva's drug trade, haven't been seen in the last week. Word is that Shiva's in a seriously pissed-off mood over this, and has made sure all of her dealers and distributers are traveling armed at all time.

More frustration seems to be striking the Anarch Baron, as a couple more Anarchs have turned up missing. Not only has Felisa Espinosa been gone for some time, but now Ricardo Hester and Carla Stark, a couple Brujah who were loyal to the cause, are missing. Word is they dealt for Shiva around the Chinatown area. Shiva has been in quite the mood lately, and was heard loudly blaming either the Camarilla or the Sabbat.

Gunther, the neo-nazi ghoul who generally has his head up the Camarilla Sherrif's ass, has been spending nearly every waking moment at the Nevermore. He's usually either at the bar watching who comes and goes, or looming over the door to Shiva's office.

If asked about Sady, his reply is short and sweet. For him. "Fuck'f I know. Check tha Bronx. At's where mosta them skanks hang out."

He's been seen around the club with an exotic looking young girl (Gitana if you've met her). He seems protective of his new toy, but like with all the others that doesn't keep her from getting bruised up every now and again when he gets in one of his moods. He usually refers to her as Baby Teef. If you listen closely after he's had too much Jaeger, you might hear him call her Ita.

Maybe the skinhead has finally cut ties with the camarilla and is in the process of becoming a full fledged anarch. Something certainly happened to cause such a 180 in his behavior, as stubborn as he is he usually doesn't take to change on his own.

No stranger to rumors themselves, the Anarchs have been in a holding pattern since the attack on Seraphim's Tears. Rumor says that Shiva is trying to get in contact with the Treaty, to try and negotiate with the Lupines in order to ensure such an event doesn't strike the Nevermore. Another, conflicting rumor says that Shiva's gearing up for war, having struck a deal with the Giovanni in order to get armed in the event that the Lupines strike them instead of the Camarilla.

Since the attack by the lupines, everyone save the Sword of Caine suffered, Shiva had died in the encounter at Central Park, no better proof to be found were her blood bound ghouls suddenly being free.

A month when by and many were half watching there backs, the blood would be wearing thin and the 'lost' ghouls would be hungry for more trying to get it anyway they could...

But no attacks happened, none came in the 7 weeks since Shiva's death they must have burned through there supply so where are they all?

Are they dead? Maybe they found a way to purge the blood or Shiva had some holed up in one of her hidden drug dens, she was a deceiver after all? Maybe somebody else stepped in and became a new benefactor? Whatever the answer the Anarchs of New York are having very hard times as of late, some wonder if the movement has been halted.

And what of Spitfire, his name is mentioned in most circles, being one of the more famous Anarchs in New York many expected him to step in and take charge, many say he has taken charge just behind the scenes, some say the punk is just an act and Spitfire is someone completely different that has just been waiting for a chance to take power. A Tower puppet perhaps? or worse a Sabbat spy. Either way spitfire has been meeting with a lot of different people, from mortals, to ghouls to other Kindred and even the independents? Word is out that he wants to meet with the Giovanni once more. Just what is he up too?

News spreads fast..

This kind just spreads the best. Some say he is a sell out, some say he is crazy some say he has followed in Shivas footsteps.

Spitfire is in talk's with the tower, apparently about territory and showing a united front against the Sabbat?

what territory and what claims are a mystery...

Has he made his claim for Baron once more?

You have to give it up to Spitfire he seems to get results, albeit in a limited fashion:

Word travels fast, this hits the Anarch grapevine like shit off a stick!!! Within hours of the event, Spitfire apparent has some deal with the Tower virtually finalized after he took things into his own hands and sent his own declaration to the council...

All he needs is a lawyer...? Yes strange indeed but the word still spreads and gets diluted, by the time it gets to 6 hours after the event he wants anyone that even knows anything about Law... He will be in the Nevermore for 5 nights starting the 25th Jan until the 30th between the hours of 22.00 and 02.00. Word also spreads about the potential rewards for helping at such a crucial point.

((Anyone interested in following this up, please pm me or icq me and we can set up a scene, time limited on this folks. Word would have also spread to the independents.))

Also does this mean Spitfire actually intends to hold down the mantle Baron with so many new anarchs raging into town. He has held it before and been known to give it over to others or just leave it at a whim:

Gossip spreads how he intends to take the reins finally and hold the position leading the anarchs of NYC into one united front.

Others say he is just starting the dream again and will step down when a suitable replacement comes rolling into town.

More whisper behind closed doors that Spitfire will become bored once more, wanderlust filling him up and just drop the dream and go, so why should they wait for that to happen, why can't they be in charge now.

Spitfire said no!

Thats just it, the treaty from the tower came, it is said Spitfire had to pawn favors and more just to get the proposed treaty broken down, some say even even had to blood bond one step just to get a meeting.

In the end he said no, and he apparently did it for the good of the anarchs. A letter was sent in the spirit of MacNeil and verbal copies spread:

Maybe it was with the deal going to shit, or maybe there is another reason, but word among the Anarchs has began to sprout up of a new player in New York. Someone with a good couple years behind him and seeming to come with "goals" in mind. No one is exactly sure who this new lick is, all they know is his name.
